Shian Denovan

Shian Denovan is an award winning Scottish actress working across film, television, and theatre. She is best known for her work within the horror genre and plays leading roles in feature films Cat Sick Blues, Lord Of Darkness, and soon to be relased Bite. She has won Best Actress awards at Sydney's Night Of Horror Festival, Nice International Film Festival and was nominated at Ontario Horror Film Festival.

She has been interviewed about her work by the Horror Channel, as well as various blogs and publications, she has also given talks at several horror festivals. Television work includes Autopsy and Muder In The Carpark, for two of the UK's main TV channels. For her theatre work, she has also been nominated for Best Actress and has performed on stages across the world. When she isn't acting she writes and performs poetry at festivals and events.

Recently she launched her own film production company - Affecting Films - and has a slate of three short films within the horror genre, lined up to be shot over the next year, for which she will be taking on the role of director.
