Billy Pon

Billy "Bloody Bill" Pon, is the writer and director of the award winning horror short Doll Boy as well as the already Cult Classic "Circus of the Dead". The West Texas King of Scream, Billy Pon, made a name for himself as a "hauntrepreneur" with his long running Def Con 1 Haunted Warehouse and Circus of the Dead: Murder Maze, the latter of which has served as inspiration for Pon's movie ventures thus far.

Doll Boy, shot in 2009, has garnered much attention over the last 3 years as an Official Selection in Elvira's Horror Hunt, and winning several awards including "Best Villain" at HorrorHound Weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana, and at Panic Fest Short Film Showcase in Kansas City, Missouri and "Best Short" at the Lagniappe Film and Music Festival in Beaumont, Texas. Doll Boy has also been a featured short two years in a row at the annual Texas Frightmare Weekend in Dallas and has been accepted to over 60 film festivals throughout the world.

Circus of the Dead began principle photography in August of 2013 and had a rough-cut screening in May 2014 at Texas Frightmare Weekend in Dallas where it was screened twice to packed, standing room only crowds. Circus of the Dead has since been accepted in over 40 film festivals all over the world and won awards for Best Feature at over a dozen of the festivals!
